MyLifeOrganized v4.0 published to beta testers

The first alpha version has been published to the beta team.

Here are some screenshots:

The look and feel inspired by Google products.

As usual you can hide not used panels.

You can even configure a minimalistic view without toolbar and properties as in MLO3

The final release is planned after beta team reported all the critical issues and we fix them.

Before the release of MLO4 as final we will release MLO 3.6.2 with all fixes we made during MLO4 implementation.

Let me remind you our upgrade policy: if you purchased MLO less than 12 months from the release date you will get the free upgrade. If you purchased MLO more that 12 months form the release date you will get a significant discount for the upgrade.

With MLO v.4 we decided to fix the upgrade date. Even though the MLO v.4 release date is not known yet we decided to set the specific date for the upgrade, so that everything is clear while MLO v.4 is still in the testing stage. Anyone who purchased MLO after July 25th, 2011 will get free upgrade to MLO v.4. The rest of the registered users will get significant discount for the upgrade. As you can see it is already more than 12 months to the release date so more people will be able to get the free upgrade.

And as always if you do not want to upgrade to the new major version now you can still use the MLO version you purchase your license for.

We are looking for serious people to join our beta team. Details on our forum.

Thanks!

  1. I've been using MLO for a couple years so I won't be getting the free upgrade but I've gotten my money's worth out of MLO v.3 over and over again so I'll gladly pay full for MLO v.4. I know not everyone is in that boat but it's the price I'm happy to pay for making my life much more organized and clear. Thanks Andrey.

  6. Nice looking UI. One question: Have the preset value buttons under the importance and urgency sliders been removed in this version?

is there a lifetime lisence for this software? i use epim too, it has a lifetime lisence so i will not purchase it again and again.

    1. Along with a license to use the software you will receive free updates of MyLifeOrganized to all new minor updates. For major updates (4.x, 5.x etc,) there will be upgrade fee. However anyone that bought the full (professional) version would get free upgrade to *all* new updates (including major) released within 12 months from the date of their purchase. It means that you will *not* pay for ANY upgrades for at least 12 months.

If you purchased MLO more that 12 months form the release date of the new major update you will get a significant discount for the upgrade.

    2. please check my last post, actually after i purchase mlo, this isn't any upgrade, so actually i only purchase a software(version 3.6.2) but without any upgrade service.
i think mlo is a perfect software but i think your upgrade clause has a little problem. i think one person who purchases a software should have at least one time upgrade. so i think your upgrade DEADELINE should be the date when you release version 3.6, then somebody who bought mlo a little later will be get at least one upgrade chance.
anyway, mlo is a pretty good software, i love it.

  9. Andrey, any update on how the beta is going? It's been a while since those of us outside the beta have heard anything.

  11. Curious how v4.0 has been of much more interest to me than windows 8.

I think we have a goose here [in the form of MLO] that's going to lay all kinds of golden eggs for quite some time. Can't wait.
