As 2017 draws to a close and it is a good time to pause and reflect on how productive you were over the past twelve months.Open the “Review” and “Goals” views in MLO to check what you planned for 2017, see what you completed, when you were the most productive. Everyone has ups and downs, but don’t kick yourself for what went wrong, focus on what went right and pick out the learnings that help you succeed in the next year. And be ruthless - remove activities from your list that don’t support delivery of any of your priorities. All this will help you maintain perspective and meet the end of the year with total control.

We are also looking back at 2017 that was very productive for MyLifeOrganized team. We released great updates for iPhone and iPad task manager with Siri reminders processing, 3d Touch & widgets and other features you asked. We also significantly improved widgets in our Android task manager and added counters, flags, backup and archive along with other minor features.

Although not all the things we put on our list for 2017 have been achieved, you can be sure that our team never stops working hard to help you organize your life and reach your main goals. The new 2018 year is going to be full of major updates and we are not going to slow down around the holiday season... At the very beginning of the year we hope to please you with the new version of MyLifeOrganized v.5 for Windows with a new streamlined UI and features you asked for (if you have not watched the presentation video yet, follow this link). Our lucky guys from MLO Beta team are already testing it.We will also put more effort to MLO apps and your suggestions are always vital to ensure we provide what our users need. A large update is planned for MLO on Android with many new features you requested. MLO on iOS also won’t be left without our attention. Step by step we are moving  forward on our list of improvements.

Hope you can turn the holiday season into something inspiring. You’ve worked hard all year, so take the time to enjoy yourself, share the time with your loved ones, laugh, love and live! Use this magic time to draft your priorities for next year until new challenges fill your mind again. Launch a new project, start your next online course, or sit down and write that book right away.

Do you have your own strategy for using holiday time effectively? We’d love to hear your own ideas in the comments!

Thank you for your continued support and Happy Holidays!

Holiday gift for Android users: Multiselect in MyLifeOrganized

Dear friends!

We really wanted to please you with a gift for the upcoming holidays and here is it! We are happy to announce one more hot and long-awaited feature for your MyLifeOrganized Android to do list - Multiselect.

As a general rule, you can open this feature using Bottom menu. Select the Multiselect mode after a single tap the menu in the bottom right corner.

Having done this, you will be able to select several tasks or folders with only several taps. Thus, you may move, copy, cut or delete the selected items at once.

Tip. You may also select either all or none of the elements available within the current view. Please find this option on the top panel.

For instance, we would like to move several tasks to the top position within the outline. Having entered the Multiselect mode, select the necessary tasks on the right and tap the move icon, which is first (that is “Move selected tasks”):

You will see a set of destinations you can move your tasks to. Now all you have to do is to choose the desired destination, which in our case will be “Root Top”:

Done? Tap “Move Task” to apply changes.

Moving several selected tasks at once can be extremely useful when you process your Inbox folder for example. Just select several tasks related to the same project and move all of them to this project.

Cutting tasks allows us to insert them in other place even in different profile, while deletion removes them completely.

If you wish to return from Multiselect mode, use a back tap or just tap “Done” to close it.

Tip. You would need to run the Pro version to use the Multiselect feature.

Do not hesitate and try all the options of this truly great feature to save lots of time in future. As always, we are happy to receive your impressions, considerations and other feedback.

Happy Holidays!
